What is full inlet air for a gas stove?

2025 03/21

As a common kitchen appliance, it is still difficult to distinguish the air intake method of a gas stove in practical life? Below, gas stove manufacturers will introduce several common air intake methods for gas stoves.

1. Method of upwind:
Upper air intake refers to the introduction of fresh air from the top or back of the stove. Usually, there are specialized ventilation openings on the top or back of the stove to introduce fresh air into the combustion area. During the combustion process of a gas stove, air enters through openings around the burner. This air intake method has the advantage of less firepower due to the amount of air entering, but the combustion is more complete.

2. Downward air intake method:
Downward air intake refers to the introduction of fresh air from the bottom or feet of the stove. Fresh air can be drawn into the stove through the bottom or foot vents. During the combustion process of a gas stove, air enters through the air holes at the bottom of the stove, and there is incomplete combustion due to the intense combustion power, which can cause excessive carbon monoxide.

3. Full air intake method:
Full air intake refers to the air entering the gas stove in two stages. When gas enters the furnace head through the valve body, it first enters with air and is fully mixed inside the furnace head. Gas is sprayed out through the fire cover and mixed with air for a second time before burning. The advantage is that it can meet the firepower requirements of household gas stoves to the maximum extent and burn them fully. The disadvantage is that it requires ventilation underneath the stove during installation. The installation of gas stoves requires ventilation even without the need for cabinet oxygen supply. This can avoid the risk of explosion in case of slight gas leakage and long-term accumulation.

Due to the design of full air intake, it not only meets the firepower requirements but also allows for full combustion. This design has a damper at the bottom of the stove, which can adjust the first air intake of the gas stove, providing users with a better cooking experience.
